The bottom of this page displays the list of those interested in being casual interns for participants and alumni of the Sales Playbook Development Program.

The list is ordered according to the order the potential interns applied.

They will join the participants in cohort #4 of the program that runs every Tuesday from September 27th to December 20th.

Those interns also have access to Drew Williams and Craig Elias every two weeks during a one-hour peer mentoring session as they work on the sales playbook of the company they are interning for.

The desire is that the interns should not require more than 30 minutes of a company’s time twice a week – something like 30 minutes on Monday to get direction and 30 minutes on Friday to share their efforts.

If you are one of the companies looking for potential interns, review the information each intern provided when they applied and email Craig Elias with your top four choices.

At the end of the 13 week, playbook development program, companies will have the opportunity to hire them as full-time interns and apply to have Venture for Canada provide 50-70% of their compensation (to a maximum of 50-70%) during an internship that can last up to 20 weeks.

– I’m a driven individual who always aspires to improve myself every day through building skills and learning new knowledge. Therefore, I believe I will spend much effort to take advantage of this opportunity.
– I have had many years of experience working in retail sales for electronics and high-ticket items through my interpersonal skills. I hope to improve those skills and learn more professional skills in sales.
– I’m currently working with Platform Calgary and I’m very passionate in working for the Calgary tech’s ecosystem. Throughout my time at Platform, I have gained some insights into the tech ecosystem and I would like to put my knowledge to good use through learning and working for a startup.

I found out about this program through Craig Elias at Bow Valley College and I believe this program is a great opportunity for me to learn more and work with the startup ecosystem in Calgary. I’ve always been intrigued by the work of founders to build great things and I want to work with them as much as I can to develop my skills while contributing to the companies to scale up and reach many more customers. I believe sales is the most important aspect of any business, therefore, learning about sales skills will be very helpful for my future professional development.
