Are you a successful Entrepreneur who would like to give back by giving an aspiring first-time Entrepreneur a summer job?
We are looking business owners who would like to hire, and mentor, aspiring entrepreneurs as they complete a summer skill development program in preparation for the regional and provincial pitch competitions that happen at the Innovation Rodeo, that runs during the Calgary Stampede.
You provide the employment and mentoring, and we’ll provide the weekly training and coaching sessions, where the students, share their progress, work in teams to solve problems, practice their pitching skills & create industry connections.
Calgary and area companies can receive up to $6,000 in a Connections to the Workplace grant when they hire graduating students for the summer.
